Typoman

Typoman is a two dimensional puzzle platformer (WiiU, STEAM PC and MAC) distinguished by a unique game world. You slip into the role of the HERO struggling to make your way through a dark, surreal world. Despite your small stature you have a powerful gift: You can craft words to alter your environment. Dive into a dark tale of heroes and monsters, where words can either be a blessing ...or a curse!

There is a lot going on in the atmosphere of Typoman's world: it's foreboding and dark, but there's also a lot of melancholy. There is a deep, tangible feeling of a heavy past in the game and there are multiple storylines all working on different levels. These are all elements we could work with in our music and sound design. It enabled us to experiment and associate with sound and engage in the project in a way that felt less like work for hire and more like a collaboration on a work of art.
All in all, Typoman provided an incredible world to help bring to life with sound.
